The Marine Reserve has been running their annual underwater photographic competition, the Splash In, since 1985. From humble beginnings with just a handful of entrants it has evolved into the hugely successful and much anticipated event that it is today, with people coming from all over the country to take part. In fact, these days we have to restrict the number of entrants so that the slide show of entries does go on forever on the Sunday night! The quality of images taken is always very high and they provide a fantastic glimpse of the stunningly beautiful wildlife and scenery that is hidden away beneath the waves.
