Wolf-fish exhibiting strange behaviour

Divers came across a juvenile wolf-fish acting in rather on odd fashion today.

When they came across the fish, it was curled up on a ledge. As it didn't seem to be reacting to their presence normally they reached out to gently touch the animal which then fell off the ledge and lay on the sebed on its side. Definately not normal beahviour.

But the plot thickens. Another group of divers reported a similar occurrence at a completely different site in the Reserve. So, what is going on. Feelers have been sent out within the marine biology world to see if this behaviour can be explained.
