St Abbs & Eyemouth VMR is a Registered Scottish Charity ( SCO 18593) and so relies on grants and donations to support its work. At present the National Trust for Scotland covers all administration costs and line manages the Marine Ranger. Scottish Natural Heritage, The Crown Estate and the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation provide grants towards the core funding of the reserve and other current funders are: the D’Oyly Carte Charitable Trust and The Hamish & Doris Crichton Charitable Trust.
